NEWS AND NOTES
A representative from Bliss Center will visit our meeting to speak briefly about the need for substitutes in the Point district. She will give information, answer questions, and explain the process.

Please remember to save paper grocery bags for the book sales. You may bring them to meetings, to the book collection days, or to the sale! We especially need them for the bag sales on the final day.

Mark your calendars now for the state convention to be held right here in Stevens Point on Sept. 24, 25, and 26! We will need lots of help with registration, assembling door prizes, and various miscellaneous duties. If you haven’t attended a state convention before, this is your chance!! And did you now that Lynne Kagelmann, one of our newest members, represents our District III at the state level? She is working to get together goody bags for the October convention! Elbert has offered to obtain decks of cards to be included and Lynne has lots of other good ideas. I’m sure she’ll need help putting these together.
