Requiem for the American Dream: a review
We've all been reading a mountain of editorials, blogs, books, and articles trying to put the events of the past month or two into some sort of context that makes sense. I caught the documentary Requiem for the American Dream on Netflix this weekend. It's the latest from Noam Chomsky, providing a conceptual framework explaining how economics and power have shaped American government throughout our history. I immediately ordered his book of the same name (due out in March). It's worth a look.
